This class instructs employees on basic awareness principles concerning the use of air purifying respirators. A twelve minute film focuses on establishing good work habits, and emphasizes the following teaching points: getting a good fit (positive and negative check sequences), filters and cartridges, using your respirator, and cleaning and maintenance. The class is followed by a "qualitative" fit test using each individual's respirator. Appropriate documentation will be provided to the employer or their representative upon completion of the class.
